“Sam, what one memory or moment do you carry with you and find joyful?” One day during a laid-back chat, Sam’s mother asked.
Sam stopped for a moment, then began to giggle. She once more displayed the same beautiful smile covered with happiness.
Just over the bend came Christmas and the New Year. One night, thrilled and eager, little Sam asked her mother a question: “Mom, is Santa real?” Does he visit us and really carry goodies in his sack? Will he present it to me when I ask?
Her mother answered gently and with a warm smile. Yes, sweetheart. ” Santa is real, but there is a little spell to cast.
“You have to first list your needs and make sure they are in a safe area, so Santa may view and have access. Santa may give you a gift.
Sam’s eyes gleamed with kindness. Her mother’s comments helped her to feel desired. Her small heart reinforced it since she believed her mother would not be wrong in any form.
Sam reached for a paper and pencil the following morning. She began compiling her letter wishes for Santa on a list along with some notes. Her actions and words really show her innocence.
Her letter notes like:
To beloved Santa,
How are you doing? I know upon reading my message I will be asleep. Hence, I won’t be able to see you. But I really want to see you next time, so could you let me know exactly when you will be visiting me? I woke up thus to find you.
She even remembered not to forget to jot down the gifts she wanted.
Sam finally folded her letter together with one of her favorite chocolates.
As she kept looking over the next few days to see whether Santa paid her house visit as children do. She eventually became engaged in other things and forgot about it.
Sam’s mother called her from the living room one day or two before Christmas morning while she was getting ready for church.
Come just here for a while, Sam. What is this, look like a gift box?
Her little feet tapping on the floor, she rushed to her mother.
And there it was, a gift package expertly wrapped under her name.
Sam missed a beat in her pulse. Her face shone with happiness!
She unwrapped the gift softly and found far more than what she had been hoping for. She went into cloud nine!
Besides, Santa himself left a note.
To Sam,
You are absolutely a beautiful girl! Keep studying; additionally, try to read every day whatever you like. Keep in mind to play and have fun.
Eventually you will settle on success and fulfill all your desires.
Christmas is fantastic.
Love Santa.
Sam gave letter hugs; her emotions were running high.
Sam said loudly, “I’m so glad, Mom,” broadly smiling.
Her mother noticed a major change in Sam since that day!
She started reading books on her own, learning without direction, and doing little chores.
Her changes made her parents happy.
That one wonderful Christmas day lingered with her and became among the happiest events of Sam’s heart!
She gave her mother a strong hug without saying anything; both of them once again cherished the great memory.
These kinds of activities enable us to share delight and value the little pleasures in life. It generates a lifetime of priceless memories!
